DR BRANDON LIM

Dr Brandon Lim obtained his dental degree at La Trobe University. Following graduation, he joined the specialist dental units at The Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre where he managed patients with complex medical needs. He has also enjoyed serving the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in general private practice.

Qualifications

BHSc MDent DCD(Orth) MRACDS(Orth) AOB Cert

Dr Lim completed his specialist orthodontic training at The University of Melbourne and subsequently achieved certification with the Australasian Orthodontic Board.

He is the humble recipient of the international Dr William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award, ranking first place by the American Association of Orthodontists. He has also had the opportunity to present his research at national and international conferences.

Professional Activities

Beyond private practice, Dr Lim is a consultant orthodontist to the Cleft and Craniofacial team at Monash Health, where he contributes to the expert management of those with particularly rare and complex anomalies.

He is actively involved in the profession, serving on the Continuing Professional Development committee and others within the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch. He is also a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists and European Orthodontic Society.
