We appreciate the financial demands made on families and our fees are structured so as to be paid over the treatment time. We are also quite happy to work with our patients in formulating the payment plan. We aim to provide quality treatment using the latest techniques and the best material available, at a fair and reasonable fee.
You do not need a referral to attend an orthodontist. Please ring to make an appointment.
We think the first time you come and see us is very important. We therefore make sure we have enough time to discuss orthodontics and your needs with you.
Because we allow time to give you the attention you need, there may be a wait to get an initial appointment. Most orthodontic treatments do not have extreme urgency. Of course if your dentist advises that you need to be seen urgently, please let us know and we will accommodate you.
At the first appointment we will provide an assessment with treatment options and give an outline of the treatment fees.
If you are not ready for treatment yet, you will be placed on our recall list so we can monitor the growth and development until the appropriate time to commence treatment. You should maintain routine check-ups with your dentist while on orthodontic recall.
For those who are at the stage where treatment is appropriate, we would then make an appointment to collect records:
Fitting of braces and removal of any required teeth are done after the records collection.
These usually occur about every six to nine weeks once we are underway. Routine treatment appointments take usually 10 minutes. We try to give you the appointment of your choice, however, this may not always be possible. Priority for after school appointments is given to students undertaking VCE.
