DR MOHAMMED BASHETI

Although Dr Mohammed Basheti was initially raised in Sydney, he moved with his family to Jordan where he completed the final years of high school and his bachelor’s degrees in dentistry. After completing his orthodontic degree at the University of Melbourne, Dr Basheti now calls Melbourne home. Dr Basheti comes from a big and tight family and loves to spend most of his free time with them, in person or virtually.

Dr Basheti finished his dental education at the Jordan University of Science and Technology passing with honours. He then completed the examinations of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFD RCSI) and the Australian Dental Council examinations. Dr Basheti undertook his specialist qualification in Orthodontics at the University of Melbourne and is now certified with the Australian Orthodontic Board (AOB Cert) and holds membership with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS Orth).

Professional activities

Dr Basheti had the opportunity to present his research at the European Orthodontic Society conference in Cyprus and is about to publish his results in the Journal of Oral Microbiology. He has also been associated with a number of other published papers. He enjoyed teaching orthodontics to dental students during his 3-year residency and aims to maintain his academic role during the many years to come.
